AVSBRA Board of Directors Meeting
The next Antelope Valley Soap Box Racing Association (AVSBRA) Board of Directors meeting will be Wednesday June 24, 2009 at 6PM at the Quartz Hill Town Center.
The Antelope Valley Soap Box Racing Association (AVSBRA) provides an opportunity for young people to participate in the sporting activity of gravity car racing. This exciting activity, like all athletic activities allows young people to strengthen their bodies and minds. Learning to extend themselves beyond their normal comfort zone; allows them to explore the physical world and stimulates their imagination. Increasing their knowledge and developing their skills at applying that knowledge toward achieving a goal or goals, builds confidence and self-esteem. Mistakes become new opportunities for exploration of oneself and their goals. With every experience a young person will grow and that growth will enable them to accomplish more. Young people between the ages of 8 to 17 here is your opportunity to take a journey that is exciting and fun. There is a champion in every young person, each person must choose to let the champion develop. A champion with a good attitude, confidence in oneself and is willing to work hard will succeed. Champions Today, Heroes Tomorrow
